Google’s revolution in video producing – new experimental project “The Wilderness Downtown”

Interactive concept video for indie band The “Arcade Fire” has been created using HTML5 and the latest innovations on web technology.
“The Wilderness Downtown” project was created by popular music video director and photographer Chris Milk for the band Arcade Fire’s new song “We Used to Wait” and Google. Building this project on the web and for the Chrome browser it allows Google to craft an experience that is not only personalized, but also deeply personal for each viewer.

Наскоро се завърнах от една изпълнена с хубави емоции почивка, преминала през Македония, Албания и Гърция. Единственото ми негативно преживяване, което ме вбеси през тези 2 седмици, дойде от…. М-Тел България! Просто не мога да повярвам как за 10 години тоя „водещ” мобилен оператор не подобри поне с мъничко работата на отдела си „Обслужване на клиенти”, която е под всякаква критика! Най-смешното е, че от около 2 месеца тече масирана рекламна кампания именно на тоя техен отдел. Таглайн: „М-тел е винаги на линия!”

FUTURESTATES – Project Yourself into the Future!

FUTURESTATES is a Futuristic art project developed by Independent Television Service (ITVS) who asked 11 experienced filmmakers and emerging talents to take the current state of affairs in the United States, and extrapolate them into stories of the nation in the not-so-distant future.

They created 11 short narrative films transforming today’s complex social issues into visions about what life in America will be like in decades to come. The first season of FUTURESTATES debuted in March 2010, and is available exclusively online.
