Do You want to be part of the world history? Do You want to join the team of the famous movie directors Kevin Macdonald and Ridley Scott? Do You want to attend the 2011 Sundance Film Festival? Do you have a video camera (no matter what)? If You answer YES these questions, just  shoot a short video of your life – but only on the 24-th of the July, 2010!

“Life in a Day” is a historic cinematic experiment of Google and YouTube “that will attempt to do just that: document one day, as seen through the eyes of people around the world. On July 24, you have 24 hours to capture a snapshot of your life on camera. You can film the ordinary — a sunrise, the commute to work, a neighborhood soccer match, or the extraordinary – a baby’s first steps, your reaction to the passing of a loved one, or even a marriage….” said Google official blog.

To participate you have to visit “Life in a Day” YouTube channel, to read the guidelines..and watch and listen Kevin Macdonald – the director of the future crowdsourced unique documentary which is going to be produced by Ridley Scott:

Of course, don’t forget to upload your video footage to the “Life in a Day” channel any time before July 31.

Regardless of whether it will be included in the final film, your video will live on on the “Life in a Day” channel as a time capsule that will tell future generations what it was like to be alive on July 24, 2010.

The film will premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and if your footage makes it into the final cut, you’ll be credited as a co-director and may be one of 20 contributors selected to attend the premiere.
