The Commuter is directed by the McHenry brothers, one of the United Kingdom’s hottest upcoming directorial pairings. The film, starring Dev Patel, Ed Westwick and Pamela Anderson, was shot in London n a mere 4 days. It’s a short action movie, and documents the distressing journey of a commuter trying to get to work on his first day.

Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire star, Dev Patel, says: “I really wanted to get involved with The Commuter was because it was being shot just on mobile phones. I wanted to encourage the next generation of filmmakers by showing that you don’t need expensive equipment and big budgets to make your own movies.”

Dragonfly Love also was shot entirely on the Nokia N8. The cult movie and video director Thomas Hilland was asked by Wieden+Kennedy London to test drive the new Nokia smartphone model. The film features music by Kap Bambino, remote-controlled dragonflies, a stunning Norwegian landscape, and two men in colourful costume. Editing and some special effects were done separately but everything else was done on the N8 which comes with 12 megapixel camera complete with 720 p HD video capture, Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash, HD- quality video recording, Dolby surround sound.
